Even small amounts of points bring pleasure when Finnair Plus frequent flyer customers make ticket purchases. Finnair Plus members can acquire, for any of Finnair scheduled flights, Any Seat award tickets, which are sold by combining Plus points and cash. Finnair is the first in Europe to provide the service.
“We want to offer our frequent flyers the opportunity to utilise even small amounts of points in acquiring a flight award. A particularly fine aspect of the Any Seat award is that frequent flyers can specify for themselves precisely the proportions of money and points they wish to use. The price scale is similar to that in the Plus Shops, namely customers specify the proportions of money and points that suit them best,” explains Finnair’s Mikko Tuomainen, Director responsible for Finnair Plus.
Any Seat flights accumulate Plus points according to their booking class. Bookings are made via the internet booking engine after log-in. Any Seat awards apply only to Finnair scheduled flights and seats can be purchased for a one-way or return flights.
In addition to Any Seat flights, frequent flyers are also being offered two other Finnair Plus flight products: the traditional Classic flight award, which is redeemed completely with points, as well the Points + Cash offer, which is a fixed combination of points and cash and can be used only on separately specified flights.
